He is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Physics, Warsaw University of Technology where he leads the Group of Physics in Economics and Social Sciences.  Prof. Ho\u0142yst is involved in cooperation with research institutes from Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland,  Slovenia, United States and Singapore.  He has spent over 7 years as a Guest Scientist, Visiting Professor and the Fellow of Humboldt Foundation. Co-author of 170 papers that have been cited over 3500 times. Co-author of over 40 publications, including one of the first papers on <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.aps.org\/pre\/abstract\/10.1103\/PhysRevE.72.046127\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">public transport complex network<\/a> in Physical Review E. Leader of one local and one national project. After completing his Ph.D. in 2009, Dr. Suchecki spent 4 years as a postdoctoral fellow in IMEDEA (Spain) and KNAW (the Netherlands). He has been Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Physics, WUT since 2014. Co-author of over 40 publications, including a highly-cited article on the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/journals.aps.org\/prl\/abstract\/10.1103\/PhysRevLett.112.158701\" target=\"_blank\">voter model<\/a> in the prestigious Physical Review Letters journal. First author of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41598-018-20546-3\" target=\"_blank\">seminal paper<\/a> in Scientific Reports introducing Gradient Maximum Likelihood Algorithm for source localization. He previously worked on nonlinear dynamics and time series analysis.
